Stunning Beaches for Miles & Miles

December 2, 2018| Edgewater Shores

We recently went up to take progress photos of the Edgewater Shores development. Whilst we were there we thought we would take some photos of some of the stunning beaches and facilities around the area. We have included a few shots below.

Site progress at Edgewater Shores along Diamond beach. In the distance, the first headland is Red Head, the second headland is Black Head and in the distance is the regional centres of Forster Tuncurry.

Stunning Beaches

Black Head rock pool located just near Black Head Surf Life Saving Club and is always a great place for a swim outside the ocean. The site pool is a great place for young children to swim safely and play under the supervision of their parents.

Club Blackhead is the bowling club located  within Black Head village.  The club it is just north of back beach and a short stroll from the whale watching platform at Black Head.

Club Blackhead

Back Beach is just south of Club Blackhead and is the northern most point of 9 Mile Beach which is the long sweeping beach from Tuncurry.

Back Beach

9 Mile Beach sweeps all the way from Tuncurry to Back Beach at Hallidays Point. Most of this coastline is adjacent to Darawank Nature Reserve.

Mile Beach

The photo below shows Diamond Beach stretching up to the north. Beyond Diamond Beach village and Edgewater Shores is Khappinghat Nature Reserve and Saltwater National Park. The headland at the north end of Diamond Beach is Saltwater Point and just beyond that is the small township of Wallabi Point.
